TARGET OUTLETS & MARKETING

The distribution plan for the release of PILLARS OF MADNESS encompasses a variety of traditional and non-traditional platforms.  DVD and BluRay media will be made available for retail sale to the general public, with a special pricing schedule made for colleges and universities with media centers and academic programs  focused on psychology, medicine and social anthropology.  Traditional television outlets, such as PBS, and BBC, as well as radio outlets such as NPR and Pacifica will also be considered as primary target outlets for the viewing and listening public to enjoy the films and the interviews contained therein.  With the growing relevance of streaming services like Netflix, Amazon, and Hulu, we plan to aggressively pursue these online platforms.  Festival releases,  limited screenings and focus group screenings will also be an important part of our distribution plan.  Festivals, such as the LOS ANGELES TELEVISION FESTIVAL (LATVF); NEW YORK TELEVISION FESTIVAL (NYTVF); TRIBECA FILM FESTIVAL (TFF) and the HAMPTONS INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL (HIFF), will be the primary festival targets approximately 1 year after the date of completion. The short-term festival goals will also include small and medium festivals with strong representation of documentary films.  << back to home
